The International Paper Museum is celebrating its new space with a series of exhibitions on the origin of papermaking and its development through the ages and around the world. We are fortunate to have a wonderful location in Brooklyn next door to Carriage House Paper and David Reina Designs.

Previously in the Brooklyn gallery, our exhibition on communication and art before paper continues in our Carriage House location. Before the invention of paper, mankind was very clever at using materials at hand, including stone, animal skins, palm leaves, wood strips, metal and bone for writing and art.
